CZM’s Technical Advantages

Testimonial
"We have been using the CZM microphone in our 'soft room' for several years and we are extremely happy with it. It has performed better than any other stationary or clip on microphone we ever tried."...Read More.

The true test of a microphone is whether it can... pick-up even the slightest variation in a person’s speech.  This includes variations in speaking patterns caused by: muffled speech, murmuring, poor articulation, foreign language accents, variation in pronunciation, intonation, inflection (i.e. surprise, fear), etc.

All of these variations in voice quality make it a challenge for most microphones to reliably and intelligibly pickup the verbal responses of interviewees—in either “hard” or “soft” interview rooms. A common complaint of investigators is that they cannot obtain intelligible recordings of their interviews with the technology that they currently use.

The CZM microphone technology provides superior speech intelligibility in all of the following contexts:

  • Investigative Interview of Suspects
  • Victim / Witness Interviews
  • Holding Cell Monitoring and Recording
  • Booking Room Monitoring and Recording
  • Prison Visiting Centres Monitoring and Recording
